Built for the doctor who sees
30 patients before lunch.
DocBase started because Indian clinics deserved better than paper registers and missed calls. We build the software that lets doctors focus on medicine — not admin.

Why we built DocBase
We spent years watching talented Indian doctors drown in paperwork. A GP seeing 60 patients a day was spending 90 minutes writing prescriptions by hand. Receptionists juggled three registers, two WhatsApp groups, and a phone that never stopped ringing.
Double bookings. Lost files. Patients who couldn't get through and gave up. The problem wasn't a lack of technology — it's that the technology that existed wasn't built for how Indian clinics actually work.
“The first clinic we digitised went from 40 patients a day to 65 in six weeks — not by working harder, but by no longer losing time to chaos.”
So we built DocBase from scratch, for Indian OPDs. WhatsApp-first, because that's where patients already are. It works on any phone, because most clinic staff use a mobile, not a desktop. Documentation flexes to each specialty's real workflow.
Then we added AI — not as a gimmick, but because a GP seeing 50 patients can't manually check every drug interaction or recall every risk factor. The AI does the cognitive heavy lifting so the doctor can be fully present in the room.
Every drug interaction caught before it reaches a patient. Every follow-up that happens because a reminder went out. Every 10 minutes returned to a doctor who can use it to actually listen.
Built specifically for Indian OPDs
Not adapted from a Western EHR. Built from scratch around how Indian clinics actually operate.
WhatsApp-first
Patients book, cancel, reschedule and get reminders entirely on WhatsApp. No app download, no portal login — the way Indian patients already communicate.
Works on any device
Run your whole OPD from a ₹15,000 Android phone if that’s what your receptionist has. No IT setup, no dedicated hardware — just a browser.
Indian drug library
2,00,000+ medications including regional trade names, generics and Indian-market alternatives — with interactions and dosing at the point of prescription.
Making healthcare accessible, intelligent and human
Give doctors their time back
45 minutes returned to every doctor, every day — 195 extra hours a year, spent on patients, not paperwork.
AI that thinks like a clinician
Interactions caught before prescribing. 10-year cardiac risk in seconds. Differentials from the patient’s own history.
Keep the human in healthcare
Patients get WhatsApp messages, not cold portals. Doctors get AI briefings, not more screens. Tech that disappears.
Every clinic in India — from a solo GP in a tier-3 town to a 10-doctor centre in Mumbai — deserves the same quality of tools. DocBase exists to make that true.
What we stand for
The principles behind every product decision we make.

Built around how Indian patients actually behave — messaging on WhatsApp, sharing appointments with family, expecting instant confirmation.
Innovation
Voice scribe, 10-year cardiac risk, AI differentials — features built from real clinical feedback, not feature-request spreadsheets.
Trust & security
AES-256 encryption, Indian servers, data never leaves the country. DISHA-minded from day one — your records are never shared, sold or mined.
Simplicity
